Mission of the Department  

• To impart state-of-the-art knowledge, skill and aptitude in all stakeholders of higher education in the discipline of Economics; both theoretical and applied, irrespective of class, caste, creed and regional disparities.
•  Fosters all round development of students through multi-pronged strategy and promote high- quality education through innovation in teaching, learning and research.

Carrying quality research at national and regional levels and to impart social consciousness, individual dignity, human facts and intellectual honesty among all the stakeholders.
