Introduction

Jawahar Knowledge Centre was started in the year 2006 with an aim to develop employability skills to the students studying non-professional courses.  It imparts training in computer skills, communication skills, analytical skills and industry-related skills.

JKC shoulders the responsibility of providing intensive training to the poorest of the poor students from marginalized sections of the society in employable skills and enable them avail themselves of the bright opportunities. The students from rural areas who have no access to advantages experienced by their urban counter parts are provided with the latest technologies and opportunities to upgrade their skills and are encouraged to compete for better standards of living.

  4. Training Schedule:
  5. i)   Three General batches (3 months each) in communication skills, analytical skills and computer skills and a Special batch (One month)in Communication skills /Analytical skills every year from April to February of the following year.
    ii)   Exact dates for registration and commencement of every batch will be notified by CCE and in turn it will be intimated to the students by circular (displayed on all departments notice boards) and announcements on a mike.

Surfing Facility:

  • All the 50 systems supported by two servers are connected with INTERNET using the Broadband service of BSNL.
  • The facility is used to impart Internet skills to the trainees.
  • Every student gets Internet  access for three hours every week, during training program.
  • Trainees will use the facility for doing project works
  • The information related to the Placement drives is passed on to the trainees through e-mail.
